The field of Peace Education is relatively new in Turkey. Peace Education has generally been a field dominated by Eurocentric Ideas. Recently, the need for the field of Peace Education in Turkey has increased. Peace education seeks to identify the underlying causes of events and to prevent conflicts from escalating. This study concentrated on Yunus Emre's philosophy and the creation of an inclusive peace model based on his principles. The study's overarching goal is to determine whether or not a Turkish-specific peace model can be developed. The following research issue is addressed in this thesis: Can a Turkish-specific inclusive peace education approach based on Yunus Emre's Philosophy be suggested? In this study, a qualitative research method was used to collect primary and secondary data. Studies were carried out in accordance with this method. The study evaluates Yunus Emre's Philosophy and Principles based on his own works. The findings of the study revealed that Yunus Emre's philosophy has applicable principles and that a Turkey-specific peace education model can be built. Furthermore, this study underlined the acceptance and application of the peace education model that NGOs could also put forward. This study also suggests actions that can be taken to adopt this model.
